- I'm a world traveler. A dreamer. I've maintained that what I do is a small portion of who I am. Yet, what I do shapes who I am becoming. I don't have a photographic memory. I do have images of some amazing people who have made a deep impression on me. Some have asked what experience I relish to this point in my life. I have many. Here's one that stands out. One day we were climbing a Rwandan mountainside trying to keep up with a group of mountain gorillas. They kept eluding us by going vertical. Not fun. We finally caught up with them as they settled in for a midday snack and nap. One of the 400 pound Silverbacks caught his reflection in the lens of our video camera, and decided he wanted a closer look. He proceeded to walk up to us, and sit on me and my photographer. Nice!!! Here's to good times, great people and the next round is on me!
